Why you need a Doula

Most of us have been there - the uncertainty of labour, the overwhelm of information and advice - and also the days and weeks after giving birth when our life was turned upside down in ways no one could really prepare us for. After all, newborn babies do not come with a manual.

Birth is a big adventure, a unique experience that changes us as individuals and I think that it is vital for that experience to be a positive one. As your Doula I will support you to get the most positive birth experience possible and gently help your family grow into your new role as a mother and parent.
